Wrestling Season is almost here.
Wrestling is a great sport that emphasizes conditioning, agility, strength, teamwork, and sportsmanship. No one is excluded because kids compete with others of their own age and weight. It is a great way to stay involved in sports and stay in shape over the cold winter months.
Morris Wrestling Club is a board-driven not-for-profit organization that is a member of the Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation and USA Wrestling Parent participation sponsorship.
Sign-ups are held in early to mid-October, and practice starts in early November. Throughout the season, practice is held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. The team then competes in tournaments on Sundays.
Any child in grades K through 8th grade who lives within a 50-mile radius can wrestle for the club.
Wrestling is a full-contact sport that requires physical and mental toughness. Our coaches work with the kids every step of the way.

I hope to see everyone this November!
